Accout group of a vendor

I want to change the account group and the code of a vendor

How could I do it??

Hi,

Further to this thread, I had a similar issue, where I wanted to change the account group. I tried XK07, but I then get a message about "Critical field groups" that would be switched off in the target account group and then it doesn't let me change it.

The "critical field groups", however, are not critical to me at all and they are not relevant to my vendor master account. Does anyone know how to proceed in this case?

hi,

normally you can do this in transaction XK07, but not always (thoretically it should depend on the number range)

Ok, I have changed the account group,. but I want to change te code too because each grupo has its number range, is it possible?

You can not do that, You need to create a New Vendor in that Account group w.r.t the earlier Vendor Code..

Ok, but if then If i create a new vwndor, is it possible to delete completely the first vendor if it has been used??

yes, you can delete the vendor if there were no postings with the vendor. The tocde is OBR2 (it starts program SAPF019)
