Periodic settlement of AUC's with class defined as investment measure

Dear All,

In my organisation's config. the "status of AUC" of asset class 8020000(CWIP Preoperative exp ) is defined as Investment measure.

Hence Line item settlement is not possible for these assets, using Tcode AIAB & AIBU.

So,how can we periodically settle the acquisitions of these asset's to a final asset. Since we can not set the status of internal order or Project to TECO.

Hi,

for this, define settlement profile and assign it to the order type properly.

Using this settlement profile (where we maintain, parameters for settlement rule), settlement rules would be generated.

Periodical settlment will happen to AUC and final settlement will happen to Asset.

Periodical settlement should not happen to final asset as this is against the basic principles of accounting.

Investment measure in your case is Internal Order.

Maintain settlement rules on the Internal Order, i.e., final asset as receiver and then execute the settlement run (T Code KO88) for the IO.

This moves/settles the cost in AUC to Final assets as maintained in the settlement distribution rules on the IO.
