First time asking/posting and fairly new to using SAP so I'm hoping someone may be able dumb down the process for me so to speak.
Currently, my company uses SAP to track materials and bills of materials for projects we handle and from what I can tell there is no real means for them to track the progress of the materials associated with a given project. So my question for anyone reading this is, is there a way to track the status/whereabouts of all the materials associated and linked to a certain BOM in terms of:
- an overall list of what materials are associated with a project (for multilevel BOM's)
- track the status of an item, such as whether its been purchased, shipped, received, etc
I know using CN-22/23 shows me a general list, but this Tcode doesn't include materials in the sub-BOM, which can get tedious and it also doesn't give a status on the materials. I apologize in advance if the question at hand is 'stupid' but I have to start somewhere!
