I had created a Generic DataSource on top of a Table - ERDK. There is a field MANDT (Client) which is present in this table and also on the corresponding Extract Structure for the DataSource. But the DataSource doesn't seem to have that field.

Field present in the table - ERDK:

Field present in the extract structure for the DataSource:

I have checked the DataSource under the T-code RSA6, but cant see that field only. So that removes the question of it being marked as 'Hidden'.

Also, in my past experience, I had found out that sometimes when a field is present in the Extract Structure, but absent from the DataSource, it is due to the fact that the field had been marked with by Selection = 'A' for the corresponding DataSource, under the table ROOSFIELD. But here, even that is not possible, as the field itself is absent when a check for the DataSource under ROOSFIELD. Can anybody please suggest me how to bring this field in the DataSource. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Firstly, do you really want MANDT field coming to BW? Many companies don't have multiple clients in production.

Look in ROOSFIELD table in your ERP system where OLTPSOURCE = [Data Source Technical Name]. What is the value in SELECTION field for MANDT field? If it is A, then visibility to BW is hidden. You can change that, and the process has been discussed before, so just search for it.
