Hi all

MANY moons ago, our old SAP BASIS guy used to produce a report that listed all users that had registered for the self service password reset function in the portal

As he has now left, I have been asked to re-produce the report, but as I am not trained, I have no idea. I have searched the interweb, but can find no reference to this

Can anyone point me in a direction please or give me some idea what I am looking for?

Dear Iain,

If your question is related to AS Java User Management I deem for that kind of users a different security policy is assigned to to allow self password reset.

The best option for create a report is to open UME http://<hostname>:<port>/useradmin -> navigate to "Configuration" -> Security policy -> check the relevant security policy for which users are assigned to "Allow Users to Change Their Own Passwords".

Then navigate to "Identity Management" -> Advanced Search -> choose search criteria under Frequently-USed Information next to "Security Policy" choose the above checked one(s) -> click on "Search" -> you will see all affected users -> click on the paper icon in the left corner next to "Principal Type" -> Select All (now all users will be selected) -> click on "Export" -> Download Exported Principals.

In case there are too many users that the UME serach can not handle you can filter the search criteria by alphanumerical search one by one starting with Logon ID e.g. "a*" ending with z*.
