Dear all Gurus,
In a typical Process scenario, i have one issue.
My second stage input depends on First stage output.Based on First stage O/P which is RM for next stage ingredients like acid & other components qty is decided.
e.g RM1 = X ( o/p of first stage)
RM2 = 1.5 times X
RM3 = 1.25 times X
This shows that i don't know o/p of second stage.Then in that case how to create process order for second stage or how to map it in MRP ? Creating a recipe itself become an issue !
Pl.see
Thanks & regards,
MP
Hi,
Go through below link, it will give clarity about functionality of MQC and also how to work with it.

Hy,
You may use Material Quantity calculation function in Master Recipe.
After creating Production version go to that Calcualtion icon.
Here u can define the Component qty with the caculation basis.
But for creating BOM you have to go for your standard OUTPUT data.
I have never apply this function, so I don't know How MRP will work in this scenario.
One more thing Your actual output varies from order to order so you have to change your components qty based on that Output during confirmation or GI Transections.

Dear
There is no doubt that for this kind of scnario you have to use Material Quantity calculation (MQC)which is used ofr Pharma kind of Industry. Like on the basic of Component potency ur other compenets & O/P qty changes.
For this you have to define formula in MQC tab in reciepe based on this your O/P qty & other comp will change.
This is not complecated as you r thinking. Just spend some time on reading SAP help there it is explain with eg you will b more clear after that. Also it is very difficult to explain this you here so better try SAP help
