Settlement of WBS to AUC after Final settlement to Asset

Dear All,

Please help me out in solving this problem.

I have created a WBS,Booked some cost and settled it to AUC and then did the final settlement to Asset.

But now due to exchange rate difference still some cost is pending in the WBS which has to be settled to the AUC and then final settlement to Asset should be followed.

But when Iam making settlement to the AUC now, the system is giving the error "Posting transaction not possible (value date not allowed)

Am I following the correct process or Is there any seperate procedure for settlement after final settlement has been done to Asset ?

Hi,

This should not be done, the error is correct. Once the AUC has been settled to main asset you can not settle the WBS to AUC.

Please change the settlement rule of WBS/Project thru CJ20N and make the receiver as Main asset now. You can do a settlement thru CJ88 or CJ8G as you require. in anycase settling to AUC and then from AUC to main asset achieves the same purpose.
