How I can give authorization for a user to release the Delv Block in VA02.

I am unable to find the BASIS forum, so, I am using this forum for this thread

Can you suggest how I can make one user to access the VA02 for the delivery block to release not other users.

Hi,

There is no Standard Object by which you can restrict the user in releasing the Delivery Block in VA02.

Need to take help of ABAP Consultant and develop an Object (to control release of Delivery Block)

Create new role with the help of Basis Team which has this new object and assign to the users for whom the authorization is to be given to release the Sales Order. (Delivery Block)

HI,

Once the user gets a error message, execute the SU53 tcode and take a screen shot and send it to the basis as this will have the clear information about the object name.

Then check in SUIM if the user has got the authorisation.

In case if you want to know the object name then go to SE24 and you will get the authorisation object name.

Have the user attempt to remove the delivery block and save the order. If he can, he already has authority to do it. If he cannot, take a /nSU53 log immediately. This log will tell you what authorizations were checked and what what failed.
