    Check this OSS note:

Note 768456 - Troubleshooting Runtime Workbench XI 3.0

Note 723268 - SAP Exchange Infrastructure 3.0 Configuration

Note 717508 - Error in the Tool/Runtime Workbench message display

    Also check:

    hi priya

go thru the below for some common errors

    1. Sometimes the parameter com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpport (or com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpsport) is set to 5<sysnr>00. This is the wrong port, instead the http port of the Web Application Server has to be entered. It can be found in transaction SMICM -> GoTo -> Parameters -> Display (tpyically 80<sysnr>).

    2. If you have changed the password of Runtime Workbench user (property com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.pwd.name) at some point in transaction SU01, you have to maintain the correct password with the parameter com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.pwd. See also notes 721548 "XI 3.0:

Changing the passwords of the XI service users", 936093 "XI 7.0: Changing the passwords of XI service users" and 999962 "PI 7.10: Change passwords of PI service users".

    3. The parameter com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.ashost has to use the fully qualified host name. See also note 750287 "XI 3.0 Runtime Workbench: Alert configuration does not start"

    4. You have made the changes, but they are not used at runtime. Please update the cache by calling the following URL: http://<J2EE-Host>:<J2EE-Port>/rwb/rtc?op=init

    regards

    Hi priya,

Once the scenario is done we can chk the errors in RWB

There many types of errors associated with a secnaio

    Mapping Errors:

when we map Source and target structure in maapinf window or screen we have option to test the mapping

    Adapter Errors:

when exchange the data b/w two systems we do it through the adapters

there will errors even related to adapters

TC SXMB_MONI to chk the errors

in RWB we can even End to End Moinitering

If found worth pls do the Req

    Thanx

    Sampath

    HI

XI runs on an Application Server with double stack (JAVA/ABAP).

Some components of XI runs on JAVA and some on ABAP:

    JAVA STACK:

    Integration Builder

    SLD

    Adapter Engine

    Runtime Workbench

    ABAP STACK:

Integration engine(IE) and Business Process Engine(BPE).

Abap stack is monitored using sxmb_moni / sxmb_moni_bpe

Java stack is monitored by using Message monitoring, End-End monitoring, Component Monitoring Performance monitoring from RWB.

Java stack monitoring can be done in Runtime Work Bench.

In RWB, you can have Message Monitoring and Component Monitoring.

In Message Monitoring, we can find the the message with status and in "Audit Log" we can have a complete log of processing done for that message. And in Compnent Monitoring, you can find the statuses of all components in Integration Server.

Central Monitoring: To monitor all components comprehensively at run time.

    Runtime Workbench

The Runtime Workbench is an XI component that offers a central monitoring view of all XI components and processes.

The workbench includes a graphical end-to-end monitoring of integration scenarios.
