Hi all,

I try to make a transport and I had the following error in the log

"BPC Transport failed with Persistent resource '<resource_ID>' does not exist"

I found the KBA 2023118 and I try to apply it but in steps5, the missing object (resource IDs) cannot be found in the tree.

Any suggestions?

Sorry, but please explain what are you doing!

What is the system? BPC/BW version/SP etc...

-SAP BW 731 SP 10

-BPC 801 SP05

The detailed followed steps are listed in this Wiki:

BPC 801 SP05 - too old to discuss! Please upgrade to some recent SP!

The SP is not the root cause of the problem.

"The SP is not the root cause of the problem" - it's yours opinion! :)

Upgrade to some recent SP! Also for BW!

Seems this transport is missing some ob the required objects.

Line5:Select only the objects that needed to be transported and also make sure that you include the objects identified by the resource IDs on step 1

Hi Yogesh,

Many thanks for your answer! The problem is that the object identified in the error message is not found in the environment and thus I cannot include it in the transport request...

Now I am confuse after reading your comment. How it is complaining about the object which is not in source or target environment?

Hi Yogesh,

The option "do not transport any bellow" have caused the Problem. Thank you very much again for your effort!
