Where are WF attachments stored?

Hi,

I'm attaching documents to my workflow. I can see in the container that there are items in AttachObjects. And i can see the attachments in the workitem.

However it looks like the system is saving the attachments locally on my own pc.

I dont think that that is correct.

So, the question is: how/where can i see where the attachments are stored, and how can i change the location?
