OSS Note

Hallo experts,

There is one OSS NOTE '872415' to be implemetned in an SAP system(46B). This note is valid for the version 46B but it doesnot contain any 'Correction instructions' for this version.

I have downloaded note into SNOTE and executed it in Development system. Now the problem in Development system got solved. As there is no 'Correction instruction' for this version..no transport request is created.

Now my question is.. how to solve the problem in Quality & Production systems ? How to implement the note in those systems as there is no TR ?

Please help.

Matt.

That is strange indeed...what status does this note show in dev? Implemented or obsolete?

What is the support package status of your system landscape?

If we can't work it out, you can always open a SAP call pointing out that problem.

in SNOTE, check for the status of note 872415. green check mark or grey box?

check patch level: go to system->status, then click the button under component version, tell us the value in column "highest support package" in line "SAP_BASIS"

remember this well, you will need it again...

Hi Matt Becker,

On menu path click System-> status

In SAP System data place you find the component version and under it you will find a CHOOSE icon click that you will find the versions in detail.

Hope this would help you and solve your issue.

That is truly bizarre. Do what Thomas suggests - contact SAP.

Hi Matt Becker,

Try this way.... Hope it would help you...

call Transaction SE80 or SE38 and create include RSUSR008_009_CO1 in package SUSR before you implement the correction instructions from this note. Specify the object attributes as follows:

    * Text:                      Include RSUSR008_009_C01

    * Type:                      Include program

    * Status: Live SAP standard program

    * Application:               BASIS

    * Development class/package: SUSR

Hope the information i provided is helpful.
