Do you guys clean up T588Z

Hi
SAP delivers T588Z with a bunch of entries not valid for our installations (among other different molga-checks). What is best practice regarding T588Z? Should we delete all unneccessary records from the table?

Thanks in advance

Kirsten

Hi Kirsten, table T588Z is set to delivery maintenance C Customizing table, maintenance only by cust., not SAP impo (this can be seen in SE11 under tab maintenance).

This means that the table is only maintained by customer and thus you can remove the one delivered by SAP if you are not using them.

Hi Sarah,

Yes - i realise it is OK to delete records delivered by SAP.
I started the company after they had entered several dynamic events - but no records had been deleted.
So I was just wondering about "best practice".

Best regards

Hello Kristen,

We still have a lot of standard code, and we sometimes look at it to give us some ideas.

Some standard code may have been deleted by the External Consultants that started our implementation back in 1998, and our Unused Custom Code is all commented out.
