COST CENTER IN INFOTYPE 0001 IN PA30-URGENT PL.......

Dear Guys,

Iam having a issue in maintaining costcenter in infotype 0001 in PA30.Now its grey field and I want to make it as Input field.I have read many threads about this and no one is working.

The requirement is I want to maintain cost center for group of employees in a company and here no position concept is there.

Since I belongs to different module,I could't able to solve this issue and I need all your help to solve this issue.

Steps in IMG

Goto SPRO --> personnel managment --> Organizational Management -

> Integration --> Integration with Personnel Administration --> Set up Integration with Personnel Administration : when u click this particular node u will find Activity box with two activities ie. participate in integration and Basic settings. Select Basic settings in that you will find the below switches

PLOGI ORGA X Integration Switch: Organizational Assignment

Remove X from the settings and save. by this u r deactivating the switch between PA and OM. this shld help you to maintain cost center manually.

Dear Sikandar and Saisree,

I have checked Mr Sikander answer in OOAC and no such activation is there.

I have checked Mr Saisree answer and when I try to give the position in PO13 (In my case 99999999-Default position),its throwing error as object 1 s 99999999 does not exist.

What could be the reason?

If you able to send your Mail I can send you the screen shot.

Since the issue is urgent,I request your help.

Hi Krishna,

GO To - Tcode - PO13 & assign your position number and select the relationships - go to create - give the date & ending date (costcenter ending date will be diff), select A-011 & give the costcenter.

After assigning the costcenter to the postion, you can see it in 0001. For posting purpose, you need to create the same costcenter in 0027 also.

Ur issue is solved & i think i can expect my points.
