Hello Friends,
When availability check is done at sales order, in display scope of check, system determines checking rule as A.
From where does the system determine this checking rule.
Thank you
The checking rule is used to control the scope of the availability check for each transaction in sales and distribution.
The control of the availability check is defined by the checking group on the material master record and the checking rule representing the transaction.
The checking rule may be configured in the system depending on the application or module, but in the sales and distribution module, it is predefined.
In other words, when you create a sales order, system determines checking rule as A.
If it is make to order stock, system determines checking rule as AE.

Dear Manik
It is predefined in SAP such that
- for sale order in make to stock scenario, it is A,
- for sale order in make to order scenario, it is AE
- for Delivery, B
thanks
