Hi
Basically we have the following situation
- Stock is in EV1 and we wish to send it to EVS. (No nested HU’s)
- TO created for qty 10
- There is a HU in EV1 with qty 5 and another with qty 12 .
- Based on FIFO system suggests first HU of qty 5.
- Split TO is configured.
- My expectation is that the first TO is created for the first HU with qty 5 (Source HU = Destination HU)
- Second TO is for qty 5 but in this case a Pick HU is created (Source HU is orognal HU and Destination HU is Pick HU)
- First HU is then Picked and confirmed
- Second HU is unpacked where 5 is taken out, new label is attached to box and TO is confirmed in the destination.
The above scenario work 100%, BUT, only when EVS is setup for Fixed binning. (If EVS is open, next empty bin or I move stock between any other storage types that are not fixed binning then it’s a problem)
What happened then is that the System never proposes a destination HU.
Also, because the Pick HU function is setup then the following happens in this case:
- The first TO has no destination HU but there is also a pick HU assigned to the TO (Even though you picking the full HU). So when the TO is eventually confirmed we then have the original HU inside the Pick HU:

- The second TO does have the Pick HU created but the destination is blank and only is filled upon confirmation.
As said, I did try the HU pick Control config, movement types etc but I just cant get it to work and it does not make sense that it works because of fixed binning. In my view you should also never have a pick HU if the HU qty is equal the qty you want to pick.
