Families Table

Hi All,

I am unable to see the family table in console. How can i get the Families Table in Console?

BTW i am using SP6 5.5 .

Hi,

To see the Family Table in console, Add Table having name= Families, Type = Families and Family Field = Category

so for this you must have field in Maintable which is lookup to Taxonomy table.

Hi Priya,

You need to have a field in main table, which will look up to a taxonomy table in your repository. After this you need to create a new table of type families and there you have to mention this main table field. Because, on the basis of categories used in this field (taken from taxonomy table), your family hierarchy will be created.

Hi Priya,

Families table is not a default table available when repository is newly created. You need to add the table of type Families. Only one Family table is possible in the repository associated with only one taxonomy table though we can create multiple taxonomy tables.
