Mean & MEDIAN of Formula field

Hi, I am a member of Learning Hub I have a query related to Crystal report. I have created a Formula field in crystal report and now I want to find mean , median of the field. Please guide me if I can calculate these summary for the formula field.

    Right click formula on CR Designer, select insert summary - as long as your formula is numeric you will see summary action as Average and Median.

    Then select level where summary is to appear group or Report.
