Domain change -- OPS$ user change

Former Member

Hi Guys,

We have migrated our domain to new domain and I have moved all the sidadm and sapservicesid users to new domain and assigned SAP services to the new users.

Then unable to restart the SAP. As its failing due to OPS$ logon failure I beleive

I have attached the work process error file for the reference. Oracle services using local system account.

I have created OPS$ user in the database for the new domain but its still giving me the same error. Just wondering whether I need to add any authorisation at DB level to OPS$ user?

Please help

Thanks

Santosh

Hi,

First of all check owner using the following command

select owner from dba_tables where table_name='sapuser';

if you get the owner name ops$<oldsid>adm than

Drop your ops$<oldsid>adm.sapuser table using drop command

drop table "ops$<oldsid>adm".sapuser;

And create new user.

Using

create user ops$<sid>adm identified externally

And run also

grant dba,resource,sapdba,connect to ops$<sid>adm;

I performed this all of i described on AIX operating system.May you get some help from this.
