Changing Cost Center and Controlling Area

Hi,

Can anyone guide me how to change the Cost Center and Controlling Area assignments for a user in ERP ?

Hi friend

Cost centers can be assigned to org unit as well as positions.

You can change the cost center using tcode PP01, select object type S and give the position number. Select on relationship and change. This is one way.

Another way is if you are maintaining cost center in Personnel Administration, you can go to Infotype 0027 and change the cost center.

Please let me know if you have any doubts.

I think you will have to maintain these at Position or Org level.
