Condition and space = wrong result

Hi,

I'm having problems with a condtion step in workflow.

The scenario.

1) A step i trying to post an invoice. This i successfully and the variable Posted is set to X in the container. The other value is SPACE if posting fails.

2) Next step is a condition check of POSTED. The condition is &POSTED& = X. This implies the condition to be true if X is set.

I have checked that X is set and I have checked that the invoice i posted in the system. Despite this the workflow interprete this condition is false.

Is there any known notes on conditions and space or any other known problems with this? The workflow receives this error when dealing with MM credits?

I will assign points for info that solves the problem.
