New GL Activation - Assign document splitting rule Z000000111

Hello All,

I would like to assign the document splitting rule Z000000111 to my system - This is for a public sector client with PSM - Active

However when i get into the menu path Activate Document Splitting => System is defaulting the method as 0000000012. I am unable to change it.

How can i change it to Z000000111? Are there any prerequistes that should be met inorder to use Z000000111.

Hi,

If you have a specific document splitting algorithm, for example for PSM, you have to assign it under IMG - General Ledger Accounting (New) - Business Transactions - Document Splitting - Extended Document Splitting - Assign Document Splitting Method

Thanks for the response. When i go into that menu path - Document Splitting method is greyed out.

Do i need to activate with 0000000012 in the step - Activate Document Splitting

and then

Come to the Assign document splitiing and change it?

I did not want to activate it with 0000000012 without knowing for sure that i can change it later - Please let me know
