Asset retirement not posted in Dep Area 031 -urgent

Hi,

When asset is retired without revenue in Period 02 for Year 2009 9 i.e., may 2009), entries are posted in DEP Area 01 only

No entries found for retirement in DEP Area 31

(type of posting : periodic posting )

but deprecation is posted through AFabn to Dep Area 31

Pls help me in resolving this issue
