Hi,

I am facing the issue while upgrading current CRM system using Sum.Error is mentioned below:"RFC error system <SID> nr 01 function 'OCS_API_GET_SPAM_VERSION' failed with code 3". and SPAM tcode is also creating runtime error dumps it is not able to open.

Its throwing below mentioned runtime error:

Error in the ABAP Application Program The current ABAP program "SAPMSPAM" had to be terminated because it has come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed. In include "LOCS_ALV_UIU08 ", in line 210 of program "SAPLOCS_ALV_UI ", the following syntax errors have occurred: Field "TYPE_CDP" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified tab les nor defined by a "DATA" statement. "DATA" statement.
Please help to resolve the issue

Thanks in advance.

Hi Sanjeev,

The SPAM import must be finished successfully.
In AL11 transaction the last 10 logs must be checked in the DIR_TRANS/log first.
If you can not go forward (there is no SAP note for this) then we from SAP side must logon to the system per R/3 level and fix this.
An other option (which we want to avoid ) is a restore of the system to the state before the Upgrade was started.
