Hi All,

I've a requirement where I am using Variable substitution. For VS I've created one extra record type in target structure.

Followed Former Member blog for VS https://blogs.sap.com/2016/01/05/multi-mapping-with-dynamic-filename-using-variable-substitution/

here I am facing problem while maintain the Standard FCC parameter in SFTP adapter to ignore the he additional record type. when I'm giving the endSeparator = '0' and '0' is being the added the First line.

and if I use endSeparator = 'nl' new blank is being added in first line .

I've have checked the experts Eng Swee Yeoh Bhavesh Kantilal comments on few blogs but those suggestions are not working in my case.

checked the few blogs https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=40772

if is it working in FTP adapter why is it not working in SFTP ?Is there any limitation for SFTP adapter.

Is there anyway to ignore the end separator in FCC?

Kindly provide the valuable suggestion to ignore the additional record type.

Regards

Umesh Reddy

Hi, Umesh

Could you try insert the additional record type field in the very end of your target structure? And make sure the <field>.fieldFixedLengths is "0,0".

Try if this works
