General Task list is not able to save ,defualt Group number is coming

i am creating a general task list in IA05,but not able to save it ,it is asking weather to shift to hierarchical task list ,if i remove the group number try to create it on blank it is taking some default group number,Please do the needful thanks in advance.

Hi Venkatesh,

Thank you issue got Resolved,It is internal number range issue.

while uploading the the task list in LSMW ,They assigned the number ranger greater than system current number range ,this was the case we are getting the issue ,so we change the current number range to a higher value number range now it is works fine ,Thank you all for you support.

Hello Ibrahim,

it is a standard behaviour of the system.. i.e. if you assign the internal number range and try to create through IA05 automatically system will take Task list group number as 1 first after saving 1 next it will take 2 is the Task list group number

There is no error message,It is saving existing group number,not creating new task number.

Hello Nadaf,

Please check whether you have assigned internal number range for task list group

generally if you create general task list through IA05 system will automatically take the next higher number as group number
