RFC test connection fails

Suman what does the error says there may be some network issues too we cant say for sure unless we dont see the log what it says...

Yes we have faced this issue sometime back ...the connection b/w NW and R/3 system did not work.

As it was giving authorization check failure ..then we changed the password to capital it worked well.

Check ur system is in network or not and create RFC via T Code SM59.denfine system ip in rfc.hope it will work.

First, lets assume that there is no change for RFC user id/ password on the remote system.

And then we can clearly check using this checklist below :

- when RFC connection fail, try to ping to the remote system, is this OK ? giving extended ping to the remote server simultanoeusly will giving you connection report between two server.

- make sure with your network team that you define STATIC IP on both side. But if you are using DHCP IP for both side, please make sure that you define server name not the IP. please make sure that your DNS server is working well and able to resolve server name to IP vice versa.

- please make sure with your hardware vendor that there is no issue with your LAN card.

The test connection was failing because of firewall between two systems.because of some OS level paramater the conncetion always failed first time. But once it failed it will connect the nbext time.
