Create a posting string

Hi,

I need that the movement type 241 to do a new posting so I copied it and created a new movement type but the system does not allow me to modified the keys for account determination. Do I need to create a new "posting string"? If so, can you please tell me how and where to do it?

Hi,

1)go to SE 16 enter T156 enter the movement type : 241 take all the data.

2)Thro SM30 create a new movement type

3)Go to SE16 Enter the T156W take data and create thro SM30

4)Go to SE16 enter the T156M take data and create thro u2018SM30

5)Go to SE16 enter the T156X for all the movement type 241 take all the value string and maintain thro SM30

Now try for posting

Go to SE16 enter T156* and press F4 all the tables are crtiical when you are creating a new Movment type

Hi

For the movemnt types you can only change the account determination using Offsetting Postings,

Other than That you will not be able to Change

in case of 241 movment as it is relevant to an asset posting it needs to trigger an ANL transaction only.

If you want to change any account grouping suggest you to Copy 201 & maintain the offsetting entries , by adding anew valuation modifier for GBB postings
