Web Dynpro iView fail to execute on portal side

Hi Gurus

I have Created Web Dynpro Application in Backend ( ECC ).

If i tested them from SICF transaction or SE80 transaction they are working fine.

Now on Portal side, I hav created Web Dynpro iView for Those ICF Services (Web Dynpro Apllications).

But most of time they Fails to execute from Portal side.

Symptoms :

On Browser Status Bar It keep on refreshing that iView address.

and Nothing comes on O/P side.

What culde be the Problem ?

How To resolve !!

you go to SICF .select the webdynpro application.deactivate service and activate service then check it in portal.

we are also facing with the same issue and we solved like i mentioned above.

but this is not an ideal solution so planning to raise an OSS message

Hi Bala -

Over a year later, and your advise is still helping people. Start/Restart was all it took and my webdypro worked! I've been trying to get this to work for quite awhile. I even downloaded and installed some notes.

If anyone has an SAP solution/note, Please let me know.

I need your help .

I am struggle with same problem; WDA application does not work . It looks like refreshing constantly .

You sets , in SDN , the problem is resolved .

In your thread , the answer is looks like reactivating ICF service is conclusion .

But that conclusion does not seem permanent conclusion .

We would appreciate if you tell me what is your real conclusion .

I cannot believe your customers re-acivate ICF service occasionaly .

Please help us .
