Issues after implentaion of Support packages

Dear All,

We performed the following upgrdes in our SAP R/3 4.7 EE machine (inDEV, TST and PRD):

1. Upgradation of ABAP Support Packs from Level 62 to level 64

2.Upgradation of SAP_HR SP from level 68 to 80

3.Upgradation of Basis Support Packs from Level 62 to 64

After this activity,the SAP HR users are facing an issue while spooling

The format of the report generated is coming in 4 lines while

previously (before application of support pack), it used to come in

single line format.

This is happening in all the DEV, TST and PRD systems

Suggestions are welcome..:-)

This may be caused by a changed default layout...

Without knowing what exactly is affected it's impossible to suggest anything...

You didn't post an error message - you posted a description of a behavior of the system. Too less information given to give an advise.

What you can do is:

Open http://service.sap.com/patches

--> SAP Support Packages in Detail

--> Side effects of support packages

Enter your source and destination support package and see if you can find a note explaining the behavior.

Just a guess just check whether the previous font type exists.

Hi,

might be problem with font.

are you using customer-specific fonts to print?

if yes then try to execute following report using SE38/SA38

RSTXDELL

leave all parameter as it is except client.

in client give the value "* " ( * and two space)

try this on your DEV server.

Thanks for all your info. but it didn't work.

Actually that program is running fine in dialog but wrappping the text when started in background.

is the background step user the same as the dialog user? If no, maybe check the user specific settings in SU01?

Please refer SAP note 1132685,

SAP_HR patch 26 deletes ARIAL Family font.

Also, not trying to put salt on the wound ... but you said "This is happening in all the DEV, TST and PRD systems".

I think that you should've solved this issue before you even left the DEV system. But, I completely understand that there are cirsumstances where this is not possible...

Also, just being captain obvious here: You did complete SPAU and/or SPDD adjustments right?
