Hi,
You can maintain backflush indicator tick at three places -
1) Material Master - MRP2 view
2) Work Center - Basic Data view
3) Routing - In Operation overview for component allocation.
Pl. check and if ok, reward me.

Hi Sarfraj ,
Material master Back flush indicator has to be maintained carefully. In case if you have extended material for some other plant it might get back flushed unnecessarily . I will suggest you to tick it in routing op comp allocation so that the components will get backflushed on desired order .
Work center backflush will do no harm like routing . ( Again work centers are plant specific )
Hope this was helpful answer !

Hi,
Apart from the places you have said, production Order also we can mainain the Backflushing indicator.
Say suupose some work centers are near to the Prod. Supply area then you can specify in the material master that WC will decide whether to Backflush.
Tha same case is with Rouring also, you can say that the component can be backflushed if I work with this Workcenter for this operation otherwise no. so thing like that..
Hope this clarifies..

Siva
