ERROR: SAP customer number unknown for installation number

We set up a SAP CAL account a couple of days ago and created an instance for the Solution Manager 7.2. Our main objective for creating this instance is to be able to export data from the SolMan, edit these data and import them back into to the SolMan.

We are currently stuck with the problem that we can't access the Import function in the Solution Administration. We followed the instructions documented under the following link: https://help.sap.com/viewer/60943adf3ff44893b62c568bb8a87d17/7.2.06/en- US/7d856b573f4a0222e10000000a44147b.html

We accessed the Solution Administration, selected a solution and tried to execute the Import function in the "Imports" tab. In our instance, executing this function results in an Internal Server Error containing the following message:

500 SAP Internal Server Error ERROR: SAP customer number unknown for installation number (termination: RABAX_STATE)

    thanks for your timely response. Please find log files from ST22 attached as screenshots (sorry for the inconvenience, it was not possible to attach the as txt or xml).

    Hi HK,

    I guess you just need to schedule job REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT from SOLMAN_SETUP. Check if your customer number is in SM30 view V_AISAPCUSTNOS.

    Hi Harald,

    The trial instances come with a temporary license key. As this key is not bound to a real installation number you would not be able to use functionalities that require to identify with a customer number.

    The solution would be to order the SAP CAL subscription and bring your own product license. For more information see the blog.
