com div ,com dis chl

hi i ve 1 slaes org and 3 dis chl and 1 com dis chl , 6 div and 1 com div, Now requirement is to use com div and com dis chl

while creating sales area i shd create sales area for all div and dis chl or just for com div and dis chl ,

while creating s.o wht shd i put sales area , and even for customer wht sales are i ve to put com div an com dis chl or rest plse guys reply soon its urgent

points will be rewarded

Hi,

While Creating sales Order , you can enter Sales area with common distribution channel and Common division. But you MUST have refer all the distribution channel and division to these common distribnution channel and division.

For cutomer creation you can create customer again for common Distribution and divison or you can create it for any of the sales area can extend the customer to respective sales area.

i have 1 sales org = 1000

3 dis chl = 10 , 20 , 30

6 div = 01 02 03 04 05 06

now com dis chl = 40 com div = 07

1) while making assign ment and making sales area i shd creat it for all including com dis chl and com div

i.e 1000 - 10 - 01 / 02 / 03 / 04 /05 / 06 // 07

- 20 - 01 / 02 / 03 / 04 /05 / 06 // 07

- 30 - 01 / 02 / 03 / 04 /05 / 06 // 07

- 40 - 01 / 02 / 03 / 04 /05 / 06 // 07

so is this assignment right or i shd do something else suggest me

2) while making customer wht slaes area i shd use e.g sales area with com div com dis chl

1000 - 40 - 07 or each sales area wise ive to create .

3) while making slaes order if i want to use particular div ( every div has its own indivisual product ) or there also i can use com div , if using com div how system will come to know which divisions product i want to select or it ll promt me some window in which i ll select my div product.?

Hi,

As Per the Standard The assignment you have done is right.

If you have referred all div and DC with Common DC and Division, Create customer only in Common Div and DC and this master record will be shared by all.

In SO , after entering customer number , it will give you pop up for all sales area, u can either choose common or individual, if u will choose common u can enter product from cross divion.

Hi Amit,

Common divisions and Distribution channels main purpose is to share the master data to all sales ares which is created under one sales area(Common).

If you maintain the common division and distribution channels no need to create master data in all sales areas.

1.While creating sales area i shd create sales area for all div and dis chl or just for com div and dis chl ,

-->Yes you need to create sales areas for all divisions and distribution channels,not only for common division and common distribution cahnnel.

2.While creating s.o wht shd i put sales area , and even for customer wht sales are i ve to put com div an com dis chl or rest.

-->You can create sales oredr for any sales area.

-->You need to create master data under common sales area i.e which sales area you have referenced in common divisions and distribution channels.

HI,

First of all let us know why u dont want maintain common distchann and divisions for all sales org and wht is the requriement for that..

If it isyour requirement then u have to assign sales are invidually for each sales org, each distch and each division seprately...

But for common distchanne and divsion u can do it all in once for each sales org...

Please let us know your requriement as mentioend in first line..

Hi Amit,

If all the distribution channels are assigned to common distribution channel and the divisions are assigned to common division then you can use the sales are having common distribution channel and common division.
