Hi Friends,

I need to extended the release level(code) for the purchase order when I tried to simulate the release the system shows the error as Release prerequisite missing. kindly help to solve this problem

In this Rel Stgy, New entr, Fill the details

Next pre requis..

The vertical person want to release the PO (final approver) then the horizontal person want to release the PO first (Viewer)

Tic the same appropriately to enable that

i have assigned 3 level .2 level is working fine but 3 level is not triggering . can you explain me release prerequisit .

go to release strategy thru spro-here double click on the particular release strategy-here u will find release prerequisite tab-select it-in it u will find that there are two set in which one set is ticked and the other is not.the set which is ticked in that u will find that the last release code which u have extended is not ticked.do it,check the release indicator,and release simulate and save.

Observe the Release Prerequisites below which is having three release codes.

Apart from the above configuration you have set the Release status also. Procedure will depend on this one only. Ie who should release the doc first and who is next.

Hi Rn,

Release startegy is very sensitive setting so please redo the release startegy process.

Go to SPRO - IMG - MM - Purchasing - PO - Release procedure for PO - define release procedure for PO.

double click on release strategies, then double click on your release strategy.

click release prerequisites to enter the prerequisite of your release strategy.

This caused as you not ticked in release strategy prerequisites. You should define there who should release first and then next level.
