Unable to create user in EP

Hi Experts

Need help. I have installed Netweaver 7.0 (ideas) recently and i'm trying to create a user in the portal, using J2EE_Admin but i can't. It prompt me An error occured please contect your user Admin.

I have add the SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION role to the SAPJSF but still i can't create a user in the Portal.

Please help.

Hi ,

did u permissions for superadminrole, in ur portal

if you have

go to -> user administration -> click on Create user

give user name & pwd click on save .

add the roles to the particular user

I did asign a super admin role to j2ee_admin user still can't create any user.

Hello , after you add SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION role to SAPJSF user are you generate profile for this role ? Also try to add him SAPALL for testing. Regards

I did gave it SAP_ALL role. How to i regenerate the role?

Go to SUPC --> write your SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION role , and press execute. After press on "Genarete" button (red Circle). After check in SU01 --> sapjsf user go to Profile tab, check the "Profile for role SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION". Are you do it in correct client? If you have default ABAP+JAVA is the 001 client. Regards. Also read how you can award helpful answers in this forum, is not so hard.

I manage to solve the issue. I created a account with SAP_J2EE_GUEST role and going into j2ee_ admin and assign role to it. Thanks.
