CRM 2007 - E-Commerce Issue - Product Catalog Unavailable


Hi ,

We are using SAP CRM 2007 and are having the following problem in when we login to the webshop for B2B or B2C.

Whenever we login we get the message saying 'Product catalog is currently unavailable - please try again later'.

I have seen this issue being posted in this forum time and again and have also taken tips suggested by various consutlants. But the issue still persists.

One more thing that we observed is that when we choose the hide catalog option then the webshop is opening and we are able to create sales orders and include products in the orders by searching the product master data.

So I assume that the problem is only in the indexing of the product catalog data.

Few more snapshots of our current scenario:

1. The product catalog has been indexed and the variants have the status 'Active and Replicated'.

2. When I look into the Indexed catalog variant in the webclient, it shows only 'A' and 'P' indexes and there is no 'S' index

3. Am able to perform the catalog indexing from the product catalog and once done, when I go into the indexed catalog varaint view in the webclient, the replication status as 'No Replication possible'. When I set the index status to active, i get a message saying 'Please perform a trex-replication' but the replicate button in this view is inactive.

4. The transaction trexadmin shows a lot of indexes and when i look into the status they are all 'Idle' - am not sure if this is an issue.

Any help to resolve this issue is highly appreciated.
