Change the Purchasing group of a material

Hello All,

I want to update the Purchasing group of a material from space to a particular value. The value is not getting updated in the database whereas the other values get updated if I try to change them. Could anyone suggest a solution for this? Please this is really urgent.

hi,

check if there is any user-exit. In that you can change the purch.grp.

Hello Anju,

Plz avoid words like urgent etc..plz go thru the rules of posting.

Now, how are you trying to update the Purch Grp?

Is it via some txn or BAPI? Plz give details for further help..

You could use Mass Maintenance, MM17 for Material Masters and MEMASSIN for Purchase Info Records.
