I have to say I like it. Simple and accurate.

At least the error messages get better. :D

Wow. Once the blogs are available again, Mike, I might have to amend your Member of the Month interview to declare a new winner in the "best copy for an error" contest. This is a close contender against The Question Authority Is Taking a Break. I'm starting to think we have a rogue AI in the platform that amuses itself by generating odd error messages.

At any rate, we are aware of the issue (https://twitter.com/SAPCommunity/status/963406688022859776) and we are working to resolve.

Hmm, so if this is only formally communicated on Twitter, I would deduce it's not possible to put up a status message on the community front page at short notice? Maybe this is a feature to consider implementing before we see "The Wiki worm has gone to Waikiki" :-)

Various announcement options have been requested and are under consideration. And we don't use twitter only. I put something in Coffee Corner. I would have put something under using SAP.com, but I think your thread serves that purpose.

We can get something on the front page too, but I don't have direct control over that. Going forward, as we move toward the new look and feel, site-wide announcements could become a possibility. (If I'm non-committal, it's because I learned my lesson the hard way. I never guarantee anything anymore.) That will be much better than just a front-page announcement, as many visitors go straight to what they want (either via search, notifications, bookmarks, and so on).

I'm starting to think I might join the wiki worm in Waikiki. Sounds lovely.

Erm... not everybody visits the homepage.

It would be much better to have a status page - like https://status.support.sap.com/ , linked to the website footer.

"Erm... not everybody visits the homepage."

Except when there is a problem. At least that's my tactic.

But I agree a unified status page would be nice when you have all these components doing their own thing.

I would not visit the homepage even when there is a problem because I have not encountered a single useful piece of information there, it is more likely that I would look for threads in using SAP.com or Coffee Corner :)

It's on the home page, BTW. https://www.sap.com/community.html

Seen that one too, but I prefer the concise tell-it-like-it-is version :-)

Is this only happening on 'archived' content only?

According to Twitter, this is being worked on with high priority. It's been a while though, at least 4 hrs judging by the tweets, so I'm glad it's not medium priority...

And I am glad I wasn't sipping on my coffee while reading your comment. :D

This was a hitch that even DJ Adams couldn't predict with blog authoring ;)
