Strategy 20

Hi Gurus,

I created a Material and put the Strategy 20 in it. Some-how when I am using MD61, it is letting me create PIR even if the strategy is 20. I dont know what has changed. I dont think it should allow to enter PIR with strategy 20, as 20 is make to Order strategy. Can somehow tell me what might have changed.

Hi Sachin,

For strategy 20, no requirement type. So PIR can not create through MD61 for 20 strategy. Only requirement via sale order is possible.

Even though system will allow to create PIR with diff req type. System will select default req type from initial screen of MD61. But we can not proceed this requirement.

Hi,

Check in MD61 - Reqmt/User parameters - Reqmt type field . This field may have the previously used req type , which gets defaulted. Clear that and try .

creating PIR is allowed, but it will not be executed. it wont be considered in MRP run. so dont worry about that.

if u want to restrict then use some exit at MD61 ro resctrict the user.

i dont think any std solution is available.
