Material Movements between location

Hi Gurus,

A Particular material has to be controlled to move/ transfer between particular location/Plant,

(For Ex Plant 1000, Material Glass, When i receive from customer as returns, i have to receive the material to the particular location, it should not be allow the user has to receive it in someother Location, FYI: i have 4 locations....

i have to do all internal transfer to all 4 locations

can you please help me to solve the issue,

I think what you are asking for is not much difficult and its a common scenario.

you just sit with an abper and find out while saving the return order which exit get called.

in sales there are so many exit so it will be very easy for an abper to find out which he can use.

logic will be "check the plant" while saving the return delivery. and Return delivery Type (ie sales document type) is your selection criteria. for ex return derlivery type for ex RN then u can put exit as if Rn then should not allow plant 1000 as receving point.

i am not having any abper with me otherwise i would have told u the exit name also.

Hi SP,

You maitain the Material Master data only to the St. Locations you wish to restrict to along with plant 1000. Let us know if issue is not resolved.

(the thing is i have to maintain the material in all 4 locations...)
