Hi,
Thanks for viewing the post,
i have a doubt what is the value which i get in the data source in the field called "Counter" which is created defaultly when we create a custom data source, and i have created a key figure in my custom bo with datatype "CounterValue" and i have declared it as a count in aggregation when i see that field in report or datasource it does not show any value by i have declared it as a count aggregation i want to see the total count of my records which are in my custom bo, what does this Aggregation Behavior meant for?
Hi Navaneeth,
I hope you are having a good day, I have performed some research on the specific 'Aggregation Behavior' you mentioned and I could find some documentation regarding it in our Help Portal, kindly check this documentation by following this link:
https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/4a/8fc05a63e138dce10000000a42189b/frameset.htm
Regarding the Counter field, which is a standard field added to every custom and standard Data Source in the system, this value currently represents the number of records that are stored in your custom Data Source or in a SAP Standard Data Source.
For example, if I have 10 accounts created in my Cloud for Customer system, when I access my custom report 'System Accounts' without adding any other field in the Data Source preview, the counter field will display the value '10', which represents the number of accounts that are being maintained in my system.
I hope this explanation as well as the documentation I mentioned earlier can clarify this specific system behavior for you 🙂
Thanks
