ERP --> CRM - external number range not taken in CRM

Hi everyone,

this is with reference to my previous post to which unforunately i couldn't receive any further clarifications. My middelware settings are as follows:

1. Customers are created in R/3

2. PIDE settings: R/3 : Internal number range

CRM: External number range

number ranges are same on both sides

External checkbox is already selected

3. ECC Reference customer created in R/3 External number range (because my requirement is external no.range from R/3 to flow into CRM External no.range - i tried this setting in PIDE and Ext. to Ext didnt work out)

But the problem is that only customers with R/3 External number range are getting replicated to CRM Internal - Why is this happening any ideas ?? Please help !

Hi Jacob,

U can do like this when u create the bp in ecc, create in Ext no range and when u assign account group convert in to ent no range and replicate this no range to CRM as Ext no range.

Because the Ext no range in both system arise number range conflict between the system and no replication happen, if u enter the bp in CRM at the same time of ecc it will give error.

Hi Jacob,

I am doubtful if you can have mapping of external no range ECC to external no raneg of CRM.

As per my understanding External no range of ECC becomes INternal no range of CRM & vice versa.

In case you are able to resolve this kindly share as I would be keen to understand.

Hi Rahul and thnx for the reply,

our requirements begins from the module RE (real estate) where they create business partners with an internal no. range. and once they assign it an account group they change the no. range to external so now this business partner is visible under transaction VD01. It's the same scenario for them , RE Int. flows to Account group ext.

at the same time those bp's need to be replicated to CRM, hence the requirement Ext. ERP to Ext. CRM. I am trying but haven't yet made it work , if I am able to find a solution i'll be glad to share it.
