fixed-asset.pngHi,

I have scenario

Asset value = 1000

Residual value 5% = 50

Carrying amount = 950

Useful life = 180 months

1st year depreciation percent = 17.82 % = 17.82 * 950% = 169.25

carrying for next year = 1000-169.25 = 830.71

I have attached the screen shot

Hi,

So what should be the NBV at the end of the year or total depreciation for the year based on the example?

Have you checked the Special Depreciation Type method to achieve the requirement?

regards,

Jitin

Hi,

At end of the Year, Value will be rs 50 (Residual value 5%)

which they won't depreciate but they use this 5% value every year for calculation purpose.

So at year end the NBV = 50
