MDG-S configuration, issue while activating services for Web dynpro applciation

Hi Experts,

I am configuring the MDG-S in fresh system, I am following the configuration guide. It's instructing to activate some services for web dynpro application. I am following the steps as below:

While providing the service name lets say "BS_OVP_BP" and clicking on execute, it asks for virtual host. I m not getting which virtual host to select. If I select default one it says select the node and if I continue, it asks me to create a new virtual host. I think creating virtual host for every service is not feasible. I am using MDG 8.0 version. Any help would be appreciable.

Hi,

Set the service name to be "*BS_OVP_BP*" (without the quiotes) and then perform the search, this will allow the search to look in all the nodes for the entry.

Hi Jaskaran,

How exactly you are executing ?

Normally, just select the service, right click on it & activate. That would do the job.

Check if you have enough authorization for activation !!
