Country Grouping in EMEA, APAC, North America

I've been asked to add a custom field into our SAP system that would house which of the following categories countries fall into....EMEA, APAC, North America.

Before I create a custom field where I map the Molga (Country Grouping) to these areas I just wanted to double check that there isn't a place that is standard that I could use for this.

We are already using the 'Region' for states within the US for our payroll system.

Any ideas?
