Hi,
I have to check a field value: this field must be contain only Latin1 characters (i'm on R/3).
Is there a function or method to do that?

Latin1: not language but codepage.
I have no a table to select: there is only an input filed type CHAR where User can insert values.

Which means do you have a requirement as in the input field user should enter only in latin language?

One option is while reading the field from the table
use the where condition as
<fieldname> = sy-langu.
If you give latin language it will fetch the description in that language.
