Integrating .Net Application into SAP Netweaver Portal 7.0

Hi,

We have an existing .Net Application which was already developed and used by the users which is hosted in an IIS Server. We have SAP Netwevaer Portal in our landscape and wanted to Integrate that .Net Application into Portal , so that users no need to use two applications, instead they can log into SAP Portal and through which they can use the .Net Application.

I know that PDK for .NET is used if there is some new development needed and it requires any of Create/Modify/Delete operations in .NET side which are initiated from Portal side.

As our application is already developed, we just need to use the SAP Portal as the gateway to access .NET application with the Single Sign On.

I have two options in mind, but could not clear about how to go abput as it is in very early stage of discussion.

1. Creating URL iView.

2. Create iView using app integrator.

Please let me know the way which i can use with the Pros and Cons.

Hope there is a good amount of Integration happening between microsoft .Net and SAP Portal and the members can throw some spot on this which will be very useful to me.

Thanks and Regards,

Sekar

Hello Sekar,

Thanks for using SDN - one comment: this particular forum is specific to the SDK provided by Business Objects, a recent acquision by SAP.

You'd likely get a more active response by posting to the SAP Netweaver > SAP NetWeaver .NET Technologies forum.

Sincerely,
