BO - Installation

Hello Guys,

I'm new in BO and I need to install BO in order to retrieve information from BI 7.0. Have you any information how to install it? and what tools is teh best for my requirements. Any doc is much appreciated and rewarded.

Hi Guys,

I think has diffrent components and functionalities. If I want to integrate this with BW 7.0. What is the best option to be used. For example Universe, Crystal....which one?

Hi Iván,

I am guessing that you are planning to use BO XI 3.0, if this is correct then here are my suggested install orders.

1. Validate that you have all the required prerequisite components installed and they are supported versions. 2. Install SAP GUI, supported version.

3. Install SAP Java Connector same version as SAP GUI.

4. Install Crystal Report 2008

5. Install BusinessObjecst XI 3.0

6. Install Integration for SAP Solution.

7. Follow the install guide and create required Role and Import required transports.

Hello Fritz,

I'm trying to get the BO release that we will use. Meanwhile, what tools within BO is the best in order to connect with BI 7.0 and is there any document that help you to create reports, etc.
