Hi,
In System Administration - System Configuration - Service Configuration, you can edit properties of certain SAP portal services using a property editor.
How can I make my own portal services appear in this list? And where can I define the configurable properties for my customly developed Portal Service (I suppose in portalapps.xml?) ?
Regards,
Jeroen
Hi Jeroen!
Portal services are configured like portal components. The Properties are defined in the portalapp.xml.
An example:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<application>
<application-config>
<property name="SharingReference" value="com.sap.km.cm,com.sap.km.application"></property>
<property name="SecurityArea" value="XXX"></property>
<property name="Vendor" value="com.xxx"></property>
</application-config>
<components></components>
<services>
<service name="EmailService">
<service-config>
<property name="className" value="com.xxx.components.email.EmailService"></property>
<property name="startup" value="true"></property>
<property name="SafetyLevel" value="low_safety"></property>
</service-config>
<service-profile>
<property name="std.mail.from" value="xxxportal at xxx.com"></property>
<property name="std.mail.charset" value="UTF-8"></property>
<property name="km.serviceUser" value="cmadmin_service"></property>
</service-profile>
</service>
</services>
</application>
