SAP installation drive removal

Hello,

I wanted to update our portal system (Netweaver 7,0) on SP15. the SAP installation drive F:\usr\sap was full (15GB). I provided new LUN (25 GB) on the have a Fibre-Channel EMC CX-300 SAN. I have the old drive with 15GB renamed on K and the new drive with 25 GB on F. contents I from K on F copied. for f:\usr\sap I have manually shared sapmnt and saploc with authorizations full accessed (local host \ administrators, local host \ SAP_LocalAdmin) provided. and instance started.

Problem: after restart of the server sees the operation system the SAN plates somewhat later and therefore will sap share not provided and the services (saposcol...) will not become automatically not started. I must share then provide manually and services start. and sometimes after restart of the server will sap share automatically provided and the services will to become automatically started.

before this drive removal action I did not have a problem.

EMC SAN CX300 has a Fibre-Channel

OS: Vienna 2003 Enterprise server IA64 bit

NetWeaver 7,0 SP15 Enterprise portal.

I ask for assistanceu2026

Thank you and greetings

Check that you have the same path in the SAPOSCOL service that you had before the change.

I did not change the drive name and paths. everything is alike. SAPOSCOL path is correct.
